This Halloween surprise someone special by creating a custom BOO Kit filled with a Loaded SNICKERS® Cookie with Peanut Butter Frosting, just for them!
Like a baby's security blanky, I cling to summer with an iron fist, on the verge of a tantrum at the first slip of my grasp. I am keenly aware with the exit of summer comes colder weather, and winter in particular. However, if there is a saving grace it is my love for Halloween!
Yes, I know, apart from me without caffeine, zombies and monsters don't actually exist. However, I have always been enamored by the fantastical imaginative spirit Halloween inspires. For the entire month of October we go out of our way to find things that go bump in the night, and finally cap it all off by collecting candy from your neighbors!
Who doesn't like free candy?!
This year I'm creating my own BOO Kit filled with my favorite candy, then topping it off with a Loaded SNICKERS® Cookie with Peanut Butter Frosting! I'm planning to surprise my sister with it as a special treat.
My sister always helps my wife and I out when we travel by watching our ginormous 100 lb puppy named Hydra. Hydra has the endearing quality of piddling on the floor whenever she greets someone, yet my sister openly welcomes her in. I'd say that is worth a free cookie!
I am leaving on another getaway in a little under a month, and I plan to surprise my sister with this BOO Kit when I drop off the puppy for our four day excursion to the Caribbean.
Creating a BOO Kit is simple with one quick stop at Walmart, or easy shopping on Walmart.com. Walmart has a wide selection of American Greetings® Halloween Cards, crafting supplies, and of course candy! I picked up a few bags of my favorite candy including Life Savers® Gummies, M&M’S®, TWIX®, Skittles®, STARBURST® and SNICKERS® Fun Size to fill my basket.
While you are shopping for your BOO Kit it is the perfect time to pick up Ghostbusters® on DVD, in stores as of October 11th. 'Tis the season, after all!
I used a decorative fall basket to serve as BOO Kit container, lined it with orange and black American Greetings® tissue paper, and topped it off with straw for a festive look. However, feel free to let your imagination run wild. There are a million ways to make your BOO Kit uniquely you!
However, the star of my BOO Kit is certainly the Loaded SNICKERS® Cookie with Peanut Butter Frosting! This is a soft and chewy triple chocolate cookie loaded with chopped SNICKERS®, topped with a generous layer of peanut butter frosting, and sprinkled with even more SNICKERS®!
It is the ultimate in cookie decadence!
Quite honestly, I'm so in love with the SNICKERS® cookie I am using as the base for this recipe, I plan on publishing a separate post specifically to highlight the SNICKERS® cookie recipe in the coming week. Move over chocolate chips, you're being replaced!
Don't forget, once your BOO Kit is complete, secretly deliver it and encourage them to BOO it forward!
