Fruit Loop Treats are an easy twist on the classic Rice Krispies treat. Three simple ingredients and five minutes are all it takes for this yummy snack!

Fruit Loops takes the classic Rice Krispie Treats to the next level by swapping out one of my favorite cereals from childhood! These delicious cereal bars are perfect for a sweet snack anytime a craving hits!

    Ingredients Needed

    • Fruit Loops Cereal - You can substitute your favorite cereals like Apple Jacks or Golden Grahams.
    • Marshmallows - Regular-sized marshmallows and mini marshmallows are both fine.
    • Butter
    Serving Fruit Loop Treats.

    How to make it

Begin making this Fruit Loop treats recipe by adding the butter and marshmallows to a large pot set over low heat. Melt the butter and marshmallows together until smooth, while stirring.

While the melted marshmallow mixture is still warm, add the Fruit Loops to the pot and mix well to combine. Then pour onto a sheet pan lined with wax paper and spread the cereal mixture evenly.

Once cool, cut into bars and serve.

    Storing Leftovers

Leftover Fruit Loop treats can be kept at room temperature, but the flavor will be best when stored in an airtight container or ziplock bag. These cereal treats are best enjoyed within a week.

These are awesome! I like to make a similar marshmallow treats, except I add honeynut cheerios and a bit of peanut butter instead of fruit loops. Delicious!
