    This easy chili cheese burrito recipe is an effortless three-ingredient copycat of Taco Bell's satisfying fan favorite.

    Taco Bell may have eliminated the chili cheese burrito from its menu, but that doesn't mean you can't still enjoy this goey cheese-filled burrito at home! You just need three simple ingredients and five quick minutes, and you will be taking a satisfying bite down memory lane!

    Ingredients

    • Soft flour tortillas
    • Chili without beans - Canned Hormel chili is perfect; otherwise, this is a great way to use up leftover chili.
    • Shredded cheddar cheese

    How to make it

    Make this copycat Taco Bell chili cheese burrito recipe by first heating the chili until it is hot and bubbling. This can be done in the microwave or on the stovetop.

    Next, heat your flour tortilla shells one at a time in the microwave for 9 seconds, or until warmed.

    Stir the shredded cheddar cheese into the chili and spoon the melty chili cheese filling into each warm flour tortilla shell. Fold the shells shut and serve immediately.

    Ingredients

    • 4 large flour tortillas
    • 2 cups chili without beans (Canned chili is perfect)
    • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

    Instructions

    • Using a microwave-safe bowl, heat the chili in the microwave for 2-3 minutes, until hot.
    • Microwave each tortilla for 9 seconds, or until gently warmed.
    • Stir cheese into the hot chili and spoon into the flour tortillas. Fold the tortilla shut and serve immediately.

    Notes

    The chili and tortillas can also be warmed on the stovetop. Heat the chili in a saucepan, and the tortillas in a large skillet until warm.
    Optionally, you can top the burritos with sour cream or add refried beans.
