If making a pizza from scratch intimidates you, you'll love this easy Pizza Baked Gnocchi dish. One pan, minimal ingredients, and all of the classic pizza flavor to crave!

    Easy Pizza Baked Gnocchi

It is New Years Eve! Which means every blogger on the planet is writing about fitness tips and healthy recipes combining the antioxidant power of celery juice and stone ground hemp oatmeal. That is, except me.  I think you should set realistic goals for the New Years, like, "Stay fat and sleep in more."

Nothing will help you achieve those goals more easily than a carb loaded Pizza Baked Gnocchi dripping with melted mozzarella. While your friends are Sweatin' to the Oldies, you will be baking up a bubbling pan of happiness.

Plus, in two weeks when everyone inevitably gives up on their fitness goals, you will have the smug satisfaction of knowing you never had to choke down celery juice.

    Easy Pizza Baked Gnocchi

I designed this baked gnocchi recipe using ready-to-go ingredients, like store-bought marinara sauce, for an easy family supper that is hassle-free. You could substitute pizza sauce in place of the marinara, but I like the flavor and texture marinara brings to the party. Traditional pasta sauce would work in a pinch, but I don't recommend it because you would lose a lot of the classic pizza taste.

If you really want to impress the family, make homemade gnocchi from scratch. You can make a lot in advance and freeze it so it is ready to go whenever you need it. Store bought gnocchi is good. Homemade gnocchi is phenomenal!

This Easy Pizza Baked Gnocchi fits perfectly inside a 9 Inch X 13 Inch Baking Pan. I use the Pyrex brand, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a new baking dish.

I tried this, and while the flavors were great, some of the gnocchi didn’t cook and were still hard (I used store bought). I didn’t use a 9x13, I used something a bit smaller since I halved the recipe. Should I have still gone for the 9x13?
