It only takes 10 quick minutes to create this Balsamic Tuscan Pasta loaded with lightly sauteed onions, garlic, spinach, tomatoes and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
Gather around boys and girls and let me tell you a story... Once upon a time, the Fox Valley Foodie didn't know how to cook. He could have been more aptly called the Fox Valley Instant Foodie, as every meal he prepared had to be quick and easy. There would be no braising, tempering, searing, or dredging for years to come. However, there was a glimmer of hope. Armed with little more than a knife and a growling stomach, he frequently made this Balsamic Tuscan Pasta for dinner. It was a real meal accessible to even the most novice of cooks.
It's true. I've been making this recipe for years. This was one of the first "good" meals I've ever mastered. Whether you are a novice cook or simply pressed for time, you won't find a more flavorful and easier meal!
My Balsamic Tuscan Pasta just got an upgrade with the unveiling of Barilla Ready Pasta. No longer do I need to boil a pot of water to prepare the pasta separately. Instead, it simply cooks in the skillet with the rest of the dish. It is effortless! Actually, it can even be prepared in the microwave in only 60 seconds if you wish, which really opens up a lot of additional meal possibilities.
Barilla Ready Pasta is a completely new innovation. It is shelf stable al dente pasta, and just the right size to create a simple meal or snack for anyone on-the-go or pressed for time. Check out how simple it is to prepare in a microwave here! Plus, I love that it is made with non-GMO ingredients - sea salt, extra virgin olive oil, and preservative free Barilla pasta.
Using fully-cooked pasta certainly made this Balsamic Tuscan Pasta easier without sacrificing any quality!
I picked up Barilla Ready Pasta at my local Target Superstore. You can find it in the pasta aisle. Though before you go, check out the great Cartwheel offer below to save 10% on your purchase at Target! The offer runs August 31 - September 14th.
