I love sharing my childhood experiences and memories with my family. Whether it is playing old school Nintendo games with my stepson, sharing my favorite childhood cartoons with him, or even breaking out classic board games, there is just something special about experiences that can bridge decades. Making memories is what life is all about in my opinion, but that doesn’t mean it needs to be expensive!
One of the best ways to make memories is playing games with your family. A family game night is an inexpensive way to have fun with the whole family while getting reacquainted with games you already know and love! Plus, it is a great excuse to make a fun snack for everyone to enjoy!
I remember the excitement I got from playing the Twister game as a child. In no time you would be tangled amongst your friends as someone loses their balance creating a collapsing sandwich of laughter. I recently found this classic game at Walmart and didn't hesitate to purchase it so I could play it with my family too, and I am crafting special M&M's® & Chocolate Dipped Ice Cream Cookie Sandwiches to enjoy during our family night in as well! After all, what is more appropriate than a sweet sandwich to enjoy in conjunction with the body pile sandwich on the game mat!
You can find everything you need for your family game night at your local Walmart. Pick up the 38 oz. XL SUP M&M's® Peanut Butter and 42 oz. XL SUP M&M's® Peanut party bags as well as your favorite classic Hasbro game and you are ready for some family fun!
There are a couple of tricks to creating great homemade M&M's® & Chocolate Dipped Ice Cream Cookie Sandwiches. First of all, you need to purchase soft cookies from your bakery, or make them yourself. If you use hard cookies the ice cream is going to squeeze right out on first bite. Second of all, I recommend ensuring the chocolate layer on top is thin. You want it to crackle under the pressure of each bite, if it is too thick you’ll be trying to snap through the layer with brute force.
I use M&M's® Milk Chocolate in this recipe, however I picked up M&M's® Peanut Butter at Walmart too, either would make a fine topping to this recipe. You can even switch up the ice cream flavor if you are feeling adventurous! Chocolate ice cream and M&M's® Peanut Butter perhaps? Mmmmm!

I love this idea! As a family of 5, going out can get pricey so we've been enjoying family game nights at home. I have to say, it's more fun and relaxed than going out and we're creating some wonderful memories! #client

These look so good! We have a new pool being built and I would guess we'll be spending a lot of time in our backyard very very soon. I'm thinking a poolside game night with these would be awesome! #client
