Ingredients

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • ¼ teaspoon table salt
  • 1 dash freshly ground black pepper or to taste
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  • Add cracked raw eggs to a small bowl with water, salt, and black pepper then whisk with a fork until well combined.
  • Melt butter in a non-stick skillet set over medium-low heat then pour in the egg mixture.
  • Gently fold the eggs with a rubber spatula as they begin to set on the bottom of the pan, continuing to do so as they cook.
  • Once the eggs are almost firm, remove them from the skillet and serve.

Notes

Customize the flavor of the eggs by adding your favorite extra ingredients. You can garnish your delicious eggs with fresh herbs such as chopped parsley or chives, plenty of hot sauce, or top with crumbled feta cheese!
