Kielbasa and Sauerkraut
This exceptionally easy kielbasa and sauerkraut recipe can be ready to eat in only 20 quick minutes! Perfect for those busy weeknights!
- 2 tablespoons butter
- ½ medium onion chopped
- 1 pound kielbasa sliced
- 16 ounces sauerkraut with juice
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon brown mustard
Add butter to a saute pan set over medium heat. Once melted add the chopped onion and saute until beginning to turn golden brown, then add sliced kielbasa. Cook until sausage is seared and heated through.
Add sauerkraut to the kielbasa mixture, along with brown sugar and mustard. Stir to combine.
Cook for 5 minutes, or until most of the liquid has cooked out. Then serve immediately.
