Honey Roasted Chickpeas with Turkish Seasoning

  • 2, 15 oz can Chickpeas
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 2 tbsp Spice Mixture

Spice Mixture

  • 1 ½ tsp salt
  • 1 ½ tsp fresh ground pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp cumin


  • Drain, rinse, and pat the chickpeas dry.
  • Place in bowl and add honey, stirring to coat evenly
  • Sprinkle in the spices and stir to ensure the spices are evenly coating the chickpeas.
  • Place on baking sheet in a single layer and place in oven preheated to 425 degrees.
  • Roast for 35-40 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  • Chickpeas are done when crunchy and no longer soft when bitten.
  • Let cool and store in airtight container.


Keep remaining spice mixture on hand to season sweet potatoes and other dishes.
