Ingredients

  • 1 Large French Baguette from Walmart
  • 2 15 oz cans WOLF Chili with Beans
  • 2 8 oz Packaged Cream Cheese room temperature
  • 2 ⅓ cups shredded cheddar cheese divided
  • 1 Green Onion chopped
  • Tortilla Chips

Instructions

  • Cut a large oval around the top of the bread and remove the cut section of the crust, as well as the breading inside, so it looks like a large bread bowl. Leave enough breading around the walls of the loaf to provide support.
  • Mix chili, cream cheese and 2 cups of cheddar until well combined and gently pour it into the hollowed out loaf until filled.
  • Top with remaining ⅓ cup of cheese.
  • Place in preheated 350 degree oven for 30 minutes, or until bubbly and delicious.
  • Let cool slightly and serve with tortilla chips.

Notes

You don't have to let the cut out crust go to waste. Cut it up into triangles and place them in the oven for 10 minutes while the chili cheese dip boat bakes for a delicious dipping cracker!
Also, pour the dip mixture into the bread slowly. The recipe is perfectly suited for the size of the Walmart's bread, but the volume needed will vary depending on how large of a hole was hollowed out.
