Ingredients

  • 1 cup minute oatmeal
  • 1 ¾ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ cup blueberry half chopped

Instructions

  • Add oatmeal, milk, sugar, and salt in a microwave safe bowl and stir briefly.
  • Microwave on high for two minutes and stir in blueberries.
  • Let oatmeal rest until it reaches your desired thickness.

Notes

You can scale up the recipe, however making larger batches will increase the cook time.
I like chopping some of the blueberries because it helps their juices/flavor to spread into the oatmeal.
This recipe can also be made on the stovetop with steel-cut oats, or any variety of your favorite oatmeal. However, you will need to adjust the cook time accordingly.
