- 2 cups sauerkraut drained
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 strips bacon cooked and crumbled
- ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Melt butter in a large skillet set over medium-high heat and place sauerkraut in the skillet along with the cooked and crumbled bacon, black pepper, and salt.
Sauté the sauerkraut for five minutes, stirring occasionally. Cook longer and stir less frequently if you desire crispy fried sauerkraut.
