Steak Bites
Perfectly tender steak bites can be quickly seared in a skillet or grill for an effortless dinner that is ready in minutes.

- 1 ½ pounds steak bites (or cubed sirloin steak)
- salt & pepper
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 1 Steak Marinade (or steak seasoning rub)
Season steak bites with salt and pepper then place in a gallon storage bag with the marinade. Marinate for 2-8 hours in the refrigerator.
Heat a large skillet over high heat and add oil. Once shimmering add the steak bites. Sear until a brown crust forms, then flip and sear other side. Approximately 1-2 minutes per side. (cook longer if you want the meat to be well done)
Remove from skillet and let rest for a 2 minutes and serve.
Customize this recipe by using my Whiskey Steak Marinade recipe, or your favorite store bought marinade.
A steak seasoning rub can be used in place of a marinade. Approximately 2 tablespoons of seasoning tossed in a bowl with 1 ½ pounds of steak bites should be sufficient. Use more or less and desired.
