Smothered Cheddar Bacon Ranch Chicken Breasts

These Smothered Cheddar Bacon Ranch Chicken Breasts are bathed in luxurious ranch-seasoned cream cheese, topped with crispy bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese.

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • ½ pound bacon
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 ounce packet dry ranch seasoning
  • ¾ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • salt


  • Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Cook bacon until crisp and chop into 1" pieces.
  • Add cream cheese and ranch seasoning to a bowl and mix to combine. (Tip: warming the cream cheese helps it mix much easier)
  • Season chicken lightly with salt.
  • Spread half of the mixture on the bottom of a 9x13" baking pan and add chicken breasts to pan.
  • Top chicken breasts evenly with remaining cream cheese.
  • Add bacon and cheese to cover the chicken breasts.
  • Cover with foil, and bake in the oven for 15 minute. Uncover and continue to bake until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees (approx 15 more minutes).
  • Remove from oven, let cool slightly and serve.
