- 1 cup minute oatmeal
- 1 ¾ cup milk
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ⅔ teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ cup blueberry half chopped
Add oatmeal, milk, sugar, and salt in a microwave safe bowl and stir briefly.
Microwave on high for two minutes and stir in blueberries.
Let oatmeal rest until it reaches your desired thickness.
You can scale up the recipe, however making larger batches will increase the cook time.
I like chopping some of the blueberries because it helps their juices/flavor to spread into the oatmeal.
This recipe can also be made on the stovetop with steel-cut oats, or any variety of your favorite oatmeal. However, you will need to adjust the cook time accordingly.
