- 1 cup water
- ¾ cup white sugar
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Set a small saucepan over medium-high heat on the stovetop and stir together water, white sugar, and brown sugar.
Bring the sugar mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally until all of the sugar dissolves.
Once all of the sugar has dissolved remove the saucepan from the heat and mix in the vanilla extract.
Let syrup cool to room temperature then store in the refrigerator and enjoy within a month.
