- 12 Hawaiian Sweet Rolls (one package)
- 4 slices thick cut bacon (or more to taste)
- 9 large eggs
- ⅓ cup milk
- 3.4 teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 6 slices mild cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter (melted)
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- ½ teaspoon brown sugar
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper then cook in a skillet over medium-low heat. Turn the eggs with a spatula as they cook to ensure everything cooks evenly, then remove them from the skillet and set aside.
Next, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. (can use breakfast sausage instead if you wish)
Whisk together the melted butter, maple syrup and brown sugar to make the glaze.
Slice the sweet rolls in half, and place the bottom half in a small baking dish. Add scrambled eggs evenly over the bottom bun then top with cheese and bacon.
Place the top buns over the fillings and paint the top of the buns with the glaze.
Cover baking dish with aluminum foil and place in the oven for 10 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes. Serve immediately.
